One of the qualities of a true professional real estate appraiser is that they have a solid background of experience in their community. Steve Hardman very capably fits that criteria.
Steve has lived in Tucson since 1968. He attended the University of Arizona as well as Pima Community College.
One of the things that gives Steve an added insight when appraising Tucson real estate, is that he became a successful Realtor in the early 1970’s and went on to become a Broker in 1979. It was during this time that he developed an interest and later a passion for appraising.
When Steve turned his direction mainly to appraising, he wanted to learn the business from the ground up so he went to work for an established appraiser. He stayed there four years before starting his own business.
In the years since, he has completed Appraisal courses conducted by the Arizona Board of Appraisers, the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and the American Institute of Banking.
His experience includes conventional and VA approved residential appraising for many major banking concerns, financial organizations as well as individual clients. Steve uses the United Systems HighPerForm appraisal software. He welcomes calls and is happy to give references.
Some of the courses Steve has taken in order to improve his service are:
- Valuation of Leases
- Appraisal Principles
- Solar Heating Workshop
- Income Capitalization Theory
- Energy Management Conference
- Narrative Report Writing Seminar
- Arizona Building Industries Course
- Courses sponsored by:
- The American Institute of Banking
- The U. S. Savings and Loan League
- The Institute of Financial Education
